ROOTED YOUTH GROUP

Our Vision is to lead the youth to knowing who they are in Christ. This includes their identity, joy, strength, and who their approval comes from (Jesus Christ). This can be accomplished by the study and memorization of scripture. To not just think this way, but know in our heart that we are saved by the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. We desire to connect with the community of the next generation and welcome them in with open arms and a non- judgmental attitude.

MISSION:

TO DISCIPLE: To teach and guide the Youth group to help them recognize the Holy Spirit. Showing them that they all have a calling to go out to their schools, sport teams, and work to tell share the good news about the love, forgiveness, and the importance of fellowship.

TO EQUIP: To teach and show the youth group how important it is to put on the full armor of God. To teach them and guide them on ways to memorize scripture. They must study out the full armor of God so they are protected when the enemy attacks.

SCRIPTURE BASE: Colossians 2:6-7 (NIV) “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
